Report: UFC Files For Trademarks Related To “Fight Island”
The UFC is returning to action next month with UFC 249, which is supposed to be a start of a long run of UFC events through the remainder of the year.
There are reportedly going to be two main locations for all of these events, which are the UFC Apex in Nevada and the “Fight Island,” which is at an undisclosed location.
Josh Gerben of the Gerben Law Firm is reporting that the UFC has filed a total of twenty two trademarks related to both “Fight Island” and “UFC Fight Island.”
Gerben posted the following on Twitter:
On April 13, the UFC filed 22 new trademarks for:
‘FIGHT ISLAND’
&
‘UFC FIGHT ISLAND’
The filings were made based on an “intent to use” FIGHT ISLAND as the name of a mixed martial arts competition and for branded goods such as clothing and jewelry.#UFC #ufc249 pic.twitter.com/Q9cHHQJFBK

Those trademarks were filed for specific goods and services, which also includes gear, equipment, jewelry and more.
UFC President Dana White recently stated that the “Fight Island” should be ready to hold events in approximately one month, but no UFC events have been announced for the island at this time.
