Ian Heinisch Signs New Four Fight Contract With The UFC
Ian Heinisch currently holds a 2-2-0 record in the UFC (13-3-0 overall) and the fighter will get a chance to fight four more times in the UFC because he has reportedly signed a new contract with the promotion.
The UFC star revealed the news during an interview with James Lynch of The Score, while also revealing that he has a fight lined up in the future, but Heinisch didn’t reveal who that bout will come against or when it will go down.
Heinisch (13-3-0) has picked up victories in the UFC over Cezar Ferreira and Antonio Carlos Jr., while suffering defeats to Derek Brunson and Omari Akhmedov. Heinisch also competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 15, defeating Justin Sumter by first round knockout. Heinisch hasn’t picked up a victory in just about a year, as the win over the aforementioned Carlos Jr. came in May of last year.
There is no word at this time as to when Heinisch will compete again, but the fighter does sit at #13 in the UFC Middleweight Division rankings.
