CES MMA 61 Postponed Due To Coronavirus
People can add one more promotion to the list of those postponing events due to the coronavirus as CES MMA has postponed CES MMA 61, which was scheduled for April 24.
The promotion announced the news through Twitter:
After consulting with government officials, the Rhode Island Department of Business Regulations, Twin River Casino Hotel and UFC FIGHT PASS, CES MMA has decided to postpone its scheduled April 24, 2020 event, CES MMA 61, at the Twin River Event Center #CESMMA #ThisIsCES pic.twitter.com/etkfqBXtaL

This was going to be a big show for the promotion, which would’ve featured a flyweight title bout between Blaine Shutt and Richie Santiago, plus UFC veterans Andre Soukhamthath, Kyle Bochniak and Austin Arnett were set to compete as well.
There are no further CES MMA events scheduled at this time and the promotion hasn’t announced when they plan on running more cards.
Other promotions such as the UFC, Bellator MMA, One Championship, KSW MMA, LFA and more have canceled or postponed events due to the coronavirus.
