Cage Warriors 113 Card Loses Two Title Fights, Gets New Main Event
This Friday’s Cage Warriors 113 card has undergone some massive restructuring due to travel restrictions for certain fighters.
The biggest changes come in the form of two championship encounters, as the Morgan Charriere/Darko Banovic interim featherweight title bout and the Samir Faiddine/Luke Shanks flyweight title fight bout are both canceled. Also, a UFC fight between John Phillips and Dusko Todorovic has been pulled from the card as well.
A lightweight title bout between Mason Jones and Joe McColgan will now serve as the co-main event of the show, while a UFC fight between Darren Stewart and Bartosz Fabinski is the new main event of Cage Warriors 113. Also, a welterweight division attraction between Nathan Jones and David Bear has been bumped from the preliminary card to the main card.
Graham Boylan, who is the Cage Warriors President, announced earlier this week that the event had moved from London to Manchester and the whole card would be held in an empty arena setting, so changes to the Cage Warriors 113 event aren’t a new thing by this point in time.
Cage Warriors 113 takes place on Friday, March 20 from the BEC Arena in Manchester, England with Darren Stewart and Bartosz Fabinski headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on UFC Fight Pass.
