Report: Claudia Gadelha Faces Marina Rodriguez At UFC Fight Night Oklahoma City
A women’s strawweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Oklahoma City as #6 Claudia Gadelha faces #9 Marina Rodriguez.
MMA Junkie reported the bout, who’s spot on the card isn’t known at this time.
Gadelha (17-4-0) has rotated wins and losses in her last five UFC bouts, with the latest contest being a unanimous decision win over Randa Markos at UFC 239. Gadelha has previously challenged for the UFC Women’s Strawweight Title, losing to then champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 23 Finale. Gadelha has suffered four losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of them came by way of decision.
Rodriguez (12-0-2) has won two of four under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Jessica Aguilar and Tecia Torres. Rodriguez competed on Dana White’s Contender Series Brazil Episode 2, defeating Maria De Oliveira Neta by first round TKO. Rodriguez has picked up twelve wins as a professional MMA fighter and half of them came by way of decision.
