Round By Round Recap

Bashir Ahmad vs. Mahmoud Mohamed

Round One: The round begins with Mohamed attacking Ahmad with leg kicks, Mohamed mixes in some high kicks against Ahmad. Ahmad backs Mohamed into the cage wall with a punching combination, Ahmad scores a takedown and he gets the half guard. Mohamed sweeps Ahmad and he gets top position, Ahmad catches Mohamed in a heel hook from out of nowhere and the tap out follows.

Yusup Saadulaev vs. Jordan Lucas

Round One: The round begins with Saadulaev nailing Lucas with a side kick to the midsection, Lucas starts attacking Saadulaev with some leg kicks. Saadulaev responds by landing a few leg kicks of his own, Saadulaev starts hunting for some takedowns on Lucas. Lucas then hits a kicking Saadulaev with a two punch combination, Saadulaev drops a swinging Lucas with a counter left. Saadulaev settles in the half guard as the fight hits the ground, Saadulaev starts nailing Lucas with some ground and pound. Saadulaev locks Lucas in the crucifix position while landing a bunch of strikes, Lucas catches Saadulaev in his full guard after escaping an arm triangle choke. Saadulaev quickly jumps to back control and he locks in a rear naked choke to force a tap out.

Round One: The round begins with Belingon attacking Gafurov with some leg kicks, Gafurov backs up Belingon with a head kick attempt. Belingon attempts a spinning back kick on Gafurov and he misses, Gafurov charges at Belingon while throwing a punching combination. Belingon then connects with a two punch combination on Gafurov, both fighters go for roundhouse kicks on the other. Belingon continues his leg kick attack against Gafurov, Gafurov starts hunting for the takedown on Belingon. Belingon connects with a spinning back kick to the midsection of Gafurov, Gafurov drops a kicking Belingon with a counter right as the round ends.

Gafurov backs up Belingon with a left before eating more leg kicks, Belingon holds Gafurov against the cage wall after the two fighters have a punching exchange. The fighters break away from each other and Belingon attacks Gafurov with a head kick, Belingon nails a spinning Gafurov with a two punch combo followed by a head kick. Gafurov scores a takedown on Belingon and he gets full mount as the round ends.

Gafurov briefly drags Belingon to the ground and he looks for a choke that Belingon easily escapes, Belingon continues attacking Gafurov with a lot of leg kicks. Yangon Featherweight Tournament Finals: Phoe Thaw vs. Saw Yan Paing

Round One: The round begins with Thaw nailing Paing with a spinning back kick, Thaw follows that up by nailing Paing with a high kick. Thaw scores a takedown and he instantly gets full mount on Paing, Thaw starts attacking Paing with a lot of ground and pound. Paing sweeps Thaw and he winds up getting top position, Paing and Thaw get back to their feet and start clinching with each other. Paing scores a takedown on Thaw and he gets the half guard, Thaw sweeps Paing and he gets the full mount. Thaw attacks Paing with a lot of ground and pound until the referee jumps in.

Aung La N Sang vs. Michal Pasternak

Round One: The round begins with N Sang nailing Pasternak with a two punch combination, N Sang follows that up by nailing Pasternak with a right. N Sang changes things up by attacking Pasternak with leg kicks, Pasternak attempts a three punch combination on N Sang. N Sang charges at Pasternak while throwing a punching combination, N Sang then hits a swinging Pasternak with a pair of counter rights. N Sang continues pressuring Pasternak by landing leg kick after leg kick, Pasternak throws wildly and N Sang nails him with more counter rights. Pasternak continues attacking N Sang with striking combinations, N Sang lands a few more combinations as the round ends.

Pasternak powers his way to his feet and he holds N Sang against the cage wall, N Sang drags Pasternak back to the ground. Round One: The round begins with Pacio popping Naito with a few jabs, Naito nails Pacio with a right to the midsection while avoiding a high kick. Naito starts hunting for the takedown against Pacio, Pacio starts attacking Naito with a series of leg kicks. Pacio charges at Naito while throwing a few rights, Naito eats a left hook as he fails at another takedown attempt. Pacio then cracks a swinging Naito with a counter right, Naito fails at another takedown before landing a kick to the midsection of Pacio. Pacio then connects with a spinning back kick to the midsection of Naito, Pacio backs up Naito with a left hook as the round ends.

Round Two: The round begins with Pacio quickly defending against takedown attempts from Naito, Pacio starts attacking Naito with some leg kicks. Naito begins to attack Pacio with some ground and pound, Pacio is nailing Naito with a ton of strikes while on his back to force an eventual stand up.
