Report: Brad Tavares Injured, Off UFC Fight Night Brasilia
The forthcoming UFC Fight Night Brasilia card has taken a hit as Brad Tavares has suffered an injury and has been pulled from a bout against Antonio Carlos Jr.
Marcelo Barone & Raphael Marinho of Combate first reported the news, stating a knee injury is why Tavares is off of the card. Carlos Jr. is expected to remain on the UFC Fight Night Brasilia card at this time, as UFC officials are seeking a replacement for him to face.

Carlos Jr. was the winner of the UFC Ultimate Fighter Brazil 3, defeating Vitor Miranda in the finals of the reality show. Carlos Jr. has earned ten wins as a professional MMA fighter and eight of them came via submission.
UFC Fight Night Brasilia takes place on Saturday, March 14 from the Ginasio Nilson Nelson in Brasilia, Brazil with a main event to be announced. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
