Paul Felder vs. Dan Hooker Headlines UFC Fight Night Auckland
A lightweight division attraction is going to be headlining UFC Fight Night Auckland as #6 Paul Felder is in action against #7 Dan Hooker.
The UFC Aus/New Zealand Twitter page announced the main event.
Felder (17-4-0) is going to be headlining his first UFC card, despite having been with the promotion for over five years. Felder will enter the contest on a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Edson Barboza and James Vick. Felder has picked up seventeen wins as a professional MMA fighter and ten of them came by way of KO/TKO.
Hooker (19-8-0) is also headlining his first UFC card and he has also been with the promotion for over five years. Hooker also comes into the bout while in the midst of a two fight winning streak, having defeated both the aforementioned Vick and Al Iaquinta. Hooker hasn’t suffered a defeat in almost a year, with that last loss coming to the aforementioned Barboza at UFC On Fox 31.
UFC Fight Night Auckland takes place on Saturday, February 22 from the Spark Arena in Auckland, New Zealand with Paul Felder and Dan Hooker headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
