Report: Saad Awad Replaces Sabah Homasi At Bellator 232
Sabah Homasi has suffered an injury and has been pulled from Bellator 232, replacing him against Paul Daley is Saad Awad.
Scott Coker made the announcement today on Twitter:
Sabah Homasi has been forced to withdraw from his fight this Saturday due to injury.

Daley (41-17-2) has won just one of his last three under the Bellator MMA banner, with that lone win coming over Erick Silva at Bellator 223. Daley competed in the Bellator Welterweight World Grand Prix, losing to Michael Page via unanimous decision in the opening round. Daley has picked up forty one wins as a professional MMA fighter and thirty two of them came by way of KO/TKO.
Awad (23-12-0) enters the contest on a three fight losing streak, having dropped bouts to Ben Henderson, Brandon Girtz and Goiti Yamauchi. Awad hasn’t picked up a victory in over a year, with that last win coming over Ryan Couture at Bellator 201. Awad has suffered twelve losses as a professional MMA fighter and half of them have come by way of decision.
Bellator 232 takes place on Saturday, October 26 from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut with Rory MacDonald and Douglas Lima headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
