Dustin Poirier Wants A Rematch With Conor McGregor, Who Responds
A defeated Poirier is turning his thoughts to the future and that may include a rematch with former two division UFC champion Conor McGregor.
Poirier used Twitter to state that he wanted a rematch with the Irishman:
I think me and Conor running it back makes a lot of sense at this point.

McGregor would issue the following response via Twitter:
I fed you to the canvas in 90 seconds bro.
You should have spoke my name with a bit more respect in that build up. “McGregor’s not next”
Motherfucker, it’s McGregor always!
McGregor is the goal! Always!
Say that now and I’ll think about it.#GoneIn90seconds #NicCage #AJolie— Conor McGregor (@TheNotoriousMMA) September 10, 2019
Another thing that Poirier is willing to do is battle McGregor for a second time in the Octagon or a boxing ring:

The duo met for the first time at UFC 178 in September of 2014, with McGregor scoring a first round TKO win on that night.
