Dana White Believes Jon Jones Is Going To Be Fine After Strip Club Incident

UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones was recently accused on battery for an altercation at a strip club in New Mexico.

Dana White has seen a video of the incident and he believes that the light heavyweight champion is going to be fine in the end.

“I actually haven’t talked to Jon, but I don’t want to get into that whole thing,” White said at the UFC 240 post-fight press conference (via Farah Hannoun of MMA Junkie). “But I can tell you this: I saw some videos, (and) Jon Jones will be fighting again. That’s sad, sad that something like that would happen to him. It’s hard to give Jon Jones the benefit of the doubt until you see the videos, so I think Jon Jones is going to be fine.”

While Jones hasn’t spoken publicly on the matter, one thing the fighter did was proclaim his innocence on Twitter.

Jones was also recently confronted by Corey Anderson at an iPlay America this past weekend, but White says Anderson won’t be next for Jones.

“Corey Anderson has turned down about 50 fights in the last month,” White said. “No.”

The light heavyweight champion last competed in the main event of UFC 239, defeating Thiago Santos by split decision.
