Jorge Masvidal Says He Would Break Kamaru Usman’s Face

Jorge Masvidal is back in action this weekend at UFC Fight Night London, facing Darren Till in the main event.

A win against Till could put Masvidal on the short list of contenders for UFC Welterweight Champion Kamaru Usman, a fighter whom would get his face broken by Masvidal.

“I think I would break his face, man, to tell you the truth,” Masvidal said at the UFC Fight Night London open workouts (via Simon Samano & Abbey Subhan of MMA Junkie). “That’s what I like to do. These guys that train to hug legs for 25 minutes, I know the British ain’t a fan of that, and neither am I. You hugging legs for 25 minutes, it’s not really a fight, man.”

Usman has yet to defend the welterweight title, which he just won earlier this month at UFC 235.

It could be awhile before Usman fights anybody, as the newly crowned champion recently underwent hernia surgery and no timeframe has been set at this time for his return.

UFC Fight Night London takes place on Saturday, March 16 from the 02 Arena in London, England with Darren Till and Jorge Masvidal headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
