Barbi Hayden Had A Meeting With Brandi Rhodes And AEW
Could Barbi Hayden be headed to All Elite Wrestling?
In an Interview with Diva Dirt’s Kristen Ashly, Hayden revealed that she recently met with Brandi Rhodes of AEW and “things were left open-ended” due to her current contract with WOW. Hayden also stated that she has had meetings with another promotion that is not AEW and sounded optimistic about the future.
Hayden currently wrestles under the name Abilene Maverick in Women of Wrestling. She is a former NWA World Women’s Champion and wrestled a dark match at the 2017 Mae Young Classic.

The AEW women’s roster currently includes Britt Baker, Nyla Rose, Kylie Rae, and Penelope Ford. Brandi has stated that she has plans on wrestling as well. Aja Kong and Yuka Sakazaki are scheduled to work Double or Nothing on May 25.
