David Michaud vs. Christian Aguilera Now Headlines LFA 59
The Legacy Fighting Allaince 59 card has undergone change after Kyle Stewart (who was set to face Jared Gooden) took a late notice fight with the UFC, so David Michaud now faces Christian Aguilera in the new main event.
Michaud (13-4-0) enters the contest on the strength of a two fight winning streak, having beaten the duo of Corey Davis and Fernando Gonzalez Trevino. Michaud did win one of three during a stint with the UFC, with that lone win coming over Garrett Whiteley at UFC On Fox 13. Michaud also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 16, losing in the opening round of the reality show to Eddy Ellis.
Aguilera (11-5-0) has won two of three bouts under the LFA banner, having beaten the duo of Maicon Mendonca and Ricardo Seixas. Aguilera has previously headlined one LFA card, which was a unanimous decision loss to Matthew Frincu at LFA 44. Aguilera has competed sixteen times as a professional MMA fighter, but none of his bouts have ended by way of submission.
