Report: Darko Stosic Faces Magomed Ankalaev At UFC Fight Night Prague
A light heavyweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Prague according to Igor Lazorin of Tass.ru as Darko Stosic faces Magomed Ankalaev.
Stosic (13-1-0) is currently undefeated under the UFC banner, having defeated Jeremy Kimball by first round TKO at UFC Fight Night Hamburg. Stosic also enters the bout while in the midst of a nine fight winning streak and he hasn’t suffered a defeat in over four years. Stosic has suffered just a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came against Jiri Prochazka at GCF Challenge: Cage Fight 5.
Ankalaev (9-1-0) has won just one of two bouts thus far in the UFC, with that lone win coming over Marcin Prachnio at UFC Fight Night Moscow. Ankalaev is a former World Fighting Championship Akhmat Light Heavyweight Champion, defeating Maxim Grishin at WFCA 30 to claim the gold. Ankalaev has picked up nine wins as a professional MMA fighter and five of those victories have come by way of KO/TKO.
