Report: Vince Morales Replaces Frankie Saenz At UFC Fight Night Beijing

Frankie Saenz has suffered an injury and has been pulled from UFC Fight Night Beijing according to Farah Hannoun, replacing him against Yadong Song is going to be Vince Morales.

Song (12-3-0-2NC) is currently undefeated under the UFC banner, having defeated the duo of Bharat Khandare and Felipe Arantes. Song also enters the contest while on the strength of a five fight winning streak and he hasn’t suffered a defeat in over two years. Song has seen seven of his professional MMA fights go the distance and the fighter has won five of those encounters.

Morales (8-2-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this fight and does so having won six of his last seven encounters. Morales competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 13, suffering a second round submission loss to Domingo Pilarte. Morales also competed twice in Bellator MMA, defeating the duo of Hamilton Ash and Justin Williams-Hugo.

UFC Fight Night Beijing takes place on Saturday, November 17 from the Cadillac Arena in Beijing, China with Curtis Blaydes and Francis Ngannou headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on UFC Fight Pass.
