Daniel Cormier & Stipe Miocic Spar On Twitter
UFC Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier defeated Stipe Miocic via first round knockout at UFC 226 to win the championship.
Miocic has been trying to get a rematch against DC ever since the defeat, but nothing has come to fruition at this time.
The two may not be battling in the Octagon anytime soon, but have decided to do a little sparring via Twitter.
Everything between the two kicked off when Miocic claimed he could win nine of ten fights against DC:
9 times out of 10 I beat DC. Everyone knows it. DC knows it. No heavyweight has ever accomplished what I have. #HWGOAT pic.twitter.com/ca7DDpHTOK

Damn seems like I’ve knocked my guy @stipemiocic silly. Come on my guy don’t be thirsty! We’re still good. You got next if Brock doesn’t make it! https://t.co/9y0SoJ4YgP

Cormier is defending the gold against Derrick Lewis in the main event of UFC 230, a bout Miocic said he would’ve accepted if given the opportunity:
You beat me that night. I respect that. But it would never happen again. I carried the torch in this division for a long time. I’ve been staying up all night with my new born daughter and I still offered to fight you nov 3 with ZERO camp weeks ago.
