Report: Rafael Dos Anjos vs. Kamaru Usman Headlines TUF 28 Finale
A welterweight division affair is going to be headlining the upcoming UFC Ultimate Fighter 28 Finale according to Raphael Marinho of Combate as #3 Rafael Dos Anjos faces #6 Kamaru Usman.
Dos Anjos (28-10-0) is competing for the first time since losing a UFC Interim Welterweight Title bout to Colby Covington at UFC 225. Dos Anjos is also a former UFC Lightweight Champion, defeating Anthony Pettis by decision to win the gold at UFC 185. Dos Anjos has won three of four since moving to the welterweight division, with the aforementioned loss to Covington being his only defeat in the weight class.
Usman (13-1-0) is currently undefeated under the UFC banner, last defeating Demian Maia by decision at UFC Fight Night Chile. Usman has seen six of his seven bouts in the UFC go the distance, with the only fight that didn’t being a knockout win over Sergio Moraes at UFC Fight Night Pittsburgh. Usman has suffered just a single defeat as a professional MMA competitor and that came via submission against Jose Caceres at Championship Fighting Alliance 11.
