Dana White Doesn’t Plan On Stopping Fighter Criticism

UFC President Dana White has seen the UFC through its growth from an outside sport to one that is now accepted by the general public.

One thing that White does that isn’t accepted by those who compete in the Octagon is the criticism he hands down to them, but don’t expect that to stop anytime soon.

“Well guess what? This isn’t the fun business. You don’t get to go out and put on a terrible performance and act like you just did something incredible,” White said on Fox News.

Retired UFC fighter Brendan Schaub has been speaking out against his fellow eskimo brother for some time now, leading to a series of heated exchanges between the two.

In the mind of the UFC President, fighters who are on the receiving end of a verbal lashing are those who deserve one.

“The guys that I went after and the guys that I did that to, if you watched their performances and what happened that night, most of them deserved it,” says White.

White is going to be seen Octagon side next at UFC 228 this September, which features UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley defending the title against Darren Till in the main event slot.
