Hulk Hogan Reinstated Into WWE Hall Of Fame; Ending “Three Year Suspension”

Hulk Hogan is a Hall of Famer again.

In 2015, WWE severed all ties to Hulk Hogan who had recently been on their television product. There was a scandal which involved his leaked sex tape including a conversation where Hogan went on a racial tirade regarding his daughter’s dating partners.

Three Years Later on July 15th, Hulk Hogan was reinstated into the WWE Hall of Fame which he was removed from in 2015.

The following is the press release from the WWE website

After a three-year suspension, Hulk Hogan has been reinstated into the WWE Hall of Fame. This second chance follows Hogan’s numerous public apologies and volunteering to work with young people, where he is helping them learn from his mistake. These efforts led to a recent induction into the Boys & Girls Clubs of America Alumni Hall of Fame.

On Saturday night, Hulk Hogan was reported as being at a Cleveland, Ohio airport and because of the relative close distance to Pittsburgh there was speculation from fans that he could show up to the WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view on Sunday. Hogan is in Pittsburgh and tweeted the following saying he met with some of the WWE wrestlers and the meeting went positively.

Fightful Wrestling will continue to report if there’s any developments in the Hogan and WWE relationship.
