Dana White Not Thinking About Conor McGregor Right Now
Former two division UFC champion Conor McGregor has been dealing with the legal issues surrounding his role in a bus attack before UFC 223.
UFC President Dana White was recently supposed to meet with the troubled UFC star, but he isn’t even thinking about the Irishman at this time.
“I’m not even thinking about Conor until – I’m serious,” White said at the UFC 226 post-fight press conference. “I know they’re saying there are talks, but we’re not talking about a fight right now. Conor has to get through July. Whatever’s going to happen to him in July, we’ll figure that out. I don’t know what’s going to happen.”
McGregor is set to appear in court for a third time to answer to the bus attack charges on July 26.
White isn’t thinking much about McGregor right now because he is waiting to see what kind of punishment the fighter may be getting.
“Is he going to get fined? Is he going to be on probation? Is he going to get this, that? When that’s over with, then we’ll start talking about him fighting,” says White.
The last time McGregor competed in the Octagon was at UFC 205, where he defeated Eddie Alvarez to win the UFC Lightweight Title.
