Report: Chris Jericho Returning To New Japan Pro Wrestling This Week

Chris Jericho will be coming back to New Japan Pro Wrestling.

For weeks, Chris Jericho has been stating he is done with New Japan Pro Wrestling following his match against Kenny Omega at Wrestle Kingdom 12. PWInsider has reported Jericho will be returning to New Japan Pro Wrestling on either Thursday or Friday during the Dontaku event. The report said he would not be wrestling at the event but will be wrestling on the Dominion event next month.

After his match against Omega, Jericho attacked Tetsuya Naito at New Year Dash but never appeared on New Japan Pro Wrestling television again. He then appeared on WWE television for the 25th anniversary of Raw and competed in the 50-man Royal Rumble match at the Greatest Royal Rumble event.

He has also been traveling with his band Fozzy and is planning his own cruise in October which will feature wrestlers from New Japan Pro Wrestling and Ring of Honor.

Fightful Wrestling will have coverage of the New Japan Pro Wrestling event Dontaku this week.
