Dillon Danis Facing Kyle Walker At Bellator 198
A middleweight division attraction has been added to the forthcoming Bellator 198 card as Dillon Danis is in action against Kyle Walker.
Danis (0-0-0) is not only going to be making his Bellator MMA debut in this encounter, but the jiu-jitsu experts making the professional MMA debut as well. Danis did help train UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor for a belt against Nate Diaz at UFC 202, which McGregor won by decision. Danis also trains out of SGB Ireland, which is home to McGregor and many other top fighters from Ireland.
Walker (2-3-0) is also going to be making his Bellator MMA debut in this fight and the fighter hasn’t won a bout in almost four years. Walker has seen just one of his five professional MMA bouts go the distance and that came against Jake Buehler at Cage Fighting Events in June 2013. Walker has also suffered a total of three defeats as a professional MMA fighter, with two of those coming by way of submission.
Bellator 198 takes place on Saturday, April 28 from the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois with Fedor Emelianenko and Frank Mir headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs on the Paramount Network.
