Report: 7 Fighters Cut From The UFC, Kailin Curran Among Them
The UFC roster has undergone a slight trimming recently as UFC Fighters Info is reporting that the promotion has cut Galore Bofando, Bobby Nash, Dmitry Poberezhets, Francimar Barroso, Kailin Curran, Karine Gevorgyan and Ariel Beck from the roster.
Bofando (5-3-0, 1-1-0 UFC) defeated Charlie Ward by slam knockout at UFC Fight Night Glasgow, but suffered a TKO loss to Chad Laprise at UFC On Fox 26.
Nash (8-4-0, 0-3-0 UFC) suffered defeats to Li Jingliang, Danny Roberts and Kenan Song under the UFC banner, plus the fighter hasn’t earned a victory in almost two years.
Poberezhets (24-5-1-1NC, 0-0-0 UFC) never got the chance to fight in the promotion due to injuries canceling bouts at UFC 211 and next weeks UFC Fight Night London card.
Barroso (19-7-0-1NC, 4-4-0-1NC UFC) leaves the promotion on a two fight losing streak, dropping bouts to Aleksandar Rakic and Gian Villante.
Curran (4-6-0, 1-6-0 UFC) leaves the promotion in the midst of a four fight losing streak and she hasn’t earned a victory in almost three years.
Gevorgyan (3-3-0, 0-1-0 UFC) lost her lone UFC bout to Rachael Ostovich by first round submission at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 26 Finale.
Beck (4-5-0, 0-1 UFC) suffered her lone defeat in the UFC to Shana Dobson at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 26 Finale and the fighter hasn’t earned a win in over two years.
