Ivory Joins 2018 WWE Hall of Fame Class, Ivory And Triple H Comment

The three time WWE Women's Champion has made it to the Hall of Fame.

Announced on Monday, WWE has decided to induct Ivory into the WWE Hall of Fame during Wrestlemania weekend. She wrestled for WWE from 1999 to 2005 at the height of the Attitude Era.

WWE.com reminded fans that Ivory got her start on G.L.O.W in the 1980s. WWE also mentioned how Ivory captured her championship within months of joining WWE. Ivory may be known most for her time in Right to Censor, a stable of uptight heels who were created to mock parental advocacy groups who disliked the Attitude Era's antics.

Ivory is now 56 years old and spends her time working with animal shelters and other philanthropy projects. The WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place on April 6th which is two days before Wrestlemania 34. The ceremony will have fans in attendance and will also be streamed live on the WWE Network.

Ivory spoke to ESPN about the induction.

"[This Hall of Fame recognition] means that it's a full circle in your career, in your wrestling chapter. It's great bragging rights for your family that have seen you go through the eras and I also feel like it's an awesome tribute to the women in wrestling as a whole. I liken it to almost getting married, it's my wedding day, which I've never had one, so, this is probably as close to a wedding production as I'll ever get. Hair and makeup, I will be speaking my vows — with regards to my wrestling career — to all these people I adore and love and we want it to all happen without a hitch."

Triple H also tweeted about Ivory's induction.

This induction was first rumored by Brad Shepard as far back as December.
