Report: Tamina Snuka Undergoes Surgery

Tamina Snuka is recovering from her third surgery since 2014.

WrestlingINC.com is reporting Tamina Snuka received surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff. This was her third surgery during her career. She previously had knee surgery to repair torn ligaments in 2016 and 2014. Snuka is forty years old and has been wrestling since 2009.

During the Royal Rumble match, Snuka lasted about a minute and a half before being eliminated by Hall of Famer Lita who entered two spots before Snuka. Before WWE Royal Rumble, she had not had any televised matches since January 2nd. She was still connected to Lana at this time but neither of them was seen on television often outside of the Riott Squad beatdowns.

Fightful Wrestling publishes and updates a WWE Injury Report. The report lists wrestlers who are injured or inactive and any expected return dates. The injury report also covers Ring of Honor, Impact Wrestling, and New Japan Pro Wrestling.

More information about Snuka's recovery and other wrestlers who are out of action will be coming to Fightful Wrestling.
