Quinton “Rampage” Jackson Wants Another Bout With Wanderlei Silva, Who Has One Condition For It To Happen

Quinton “Rampage” Jackson has fought Wanderlei Silva three times before, winning just one of those three encounters at UFC 92.

Rampage wants a fourth fight with Silva because the fighter feels he owes the Brazilian something.

“I owe Wanderlei another ass whooping, I’ll tell you that,” Jackson said on The MMA Hour. “I know he’s not a heavyweight. The last time I fought him I knocked him out of the weight class. But he beat me twice. I only beat him once. I think I owe him another ass whooping.”

Silva, who picked up both of his wins over Rampage in the PRIDE organization, is open to the idea of a fourth battle with his longtime rival.

However, if the fight were to happen again, one thing that Silva would like is the home country advantage.

”I will (talk to Bellator president Scott Coker), but I want to do this rematch with ‘Rampage’ at Arena da Baixada, in Curitiba,” said Silva to Gazeta Do Povo. “I’ll put this as a condition, to be in my hometown. Then it would be worth the effort. Money alone isn’t worth it, it has to be something more, and that would be fighting in front of my friends in Curitiba.”

Both fighters have had there up and downs since their last encounter, with Rampage holding an 8-6-0 record since the last meeting, while Silva has a record of 3-4-0 since that time.
