Report: Luke Sanders Battles Patrick Williams At UFC On Fox 29
A pair of bantamweights may be colliding at UFC On Fox 29 according to MMA NYTT as Luke Sanders could be facing Patrick Williams.
Sanders (11-2-0) enters the bout riding a two fight losing streak and the competitor hasn’t earned a victory in over two years. Sanders has earned a single win under the UFC banner and that came over Maximo Blanco at UFC Fight Night 81 in January 2016. Sanders is also a former Resurrection Fighting Alliance Bantamweight Champion, defeating Terrion Ware at AXS TV Fights: RFA vs. Legacy Super Fights.
Williams (8-5-0) has won just one of three thus far in UFC competition, with that lone win coming over Alejandro Perez at UFC 188. Williams has only seen two of his professional MMA fights go the distance and the fighter hasn’t gone to the judges scorecards in over six years. Williams also returns to action for the first time in almost a year, as his last bout came against Tom Duquesnoy at UFC On Fox 24.
