Report: Jeremy Kennedy Faces Alexander Volkanovski At UFC 221
A featherweight division affair could be coming to the upcoming UFC 221 card as Jeremy Kennedy may be in action against Alexander Volkanovski.

Kennedy (11-0-0) has already competed three times under the UFC banner, last defeating Kyle Bochniak by unanimous decision at UFC On Fox 25. Kennedy does enter the fight as an undefeated professional MMA competitor and that streak has now lasted over four years. Kennedy is also a former Battlefield Fight League Featherweight Champion, defeating Mario Pereira by unanimous decision at BFL 34 to win the gold.
Volkanovski (16-1-0) is undefeated thus far in UFC competition, defeating Yusuke Kasuya, Mizuto Hirota and Shane Young. Volkanovski enters the fight on the strength of a thirteen bout winning streak and he hasn’t suffered a defeat in over four years. Volkanovski was also the first ever Roshambo MMA Featherweight Champion, defeating Anton Zafir by fourth round TKO at Roshambo 1 in 2013 to win the belt.
