Members Of Absolution And The Riott Squad Reveal How They Got Called Up

You never know when you're going to make your big debut.

That's the story behind the five women being called up a few weeks ago on both Raw and Smackdown following Survivor Series. Liv Morgan, Ruby Riott, Sarah Logan, Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose all spoke to ESPN about the moments when they were let known that they were going to be called up to the main roster. For Deville and Rose, it was that afternoon, as Deville recalls.

"As the days unfolded, you hear rumors and you hear things flying around" she said. "You don't wanna believe anything until it's set in stone, because it's the entertainment industry at the end of the day and things change. Come Monday, around 3:00, 3:30, I found out what I was doing. I think I'm still in disbelief. I don't know if it's really set in yet."

Liv Morgan, who along with Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan were given a bit more time. They were all called up to Raw, where they were told they would be making their debut the next night:

"We get to Raw and we kind of get pulled aside in a room and we're told that we'd be going to Raw or SmackDown" Morgan said. "I didn't expect it at all. I was completely surprised and, of course, I'm so emotional and such a baby. I started crying. I grew up a little poor girl from New Jersey. I shouldn't be here, but somehow, in this universe, I made it here in the WWE"

The trio have since been dubbed the Riot Squad. Meanwhile, on Raw, Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose, along with the returning Paige, have formed a trio known as Absolution.
