Jesse Taylor Shocked By Potential USADA Violation

UFC Ultimate Fighter Redemption winner Jesse Taylor was recently notified by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) of a potential violation.

Due to the potential violation, the fighter has also been removed from an upcoming bout against Belal Muhammad at UFC Fight Night Sydney.

Taylor has now issued his first statement since the potential violation was announced, saying he is shocked by USADA’s findings and declaring that he has never used steroids.

The truth will come to Light! I am just as shocked and surprised by this tragedy. Our Team is looking into this matter. Let due process do it work before judging on the matter. Those that know me know this is wrong. We will Fight this and I will be back. I am sorry to Aussie friends and fans but that fight is off due to to this matter I am very bummed but we will get to bottom of this. I'll Be BaCk

The fighter joins other high profile fighters such as former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones as fighters who have been popped by USADA as of late.

There is no word yet on what kind of punishment the fighter could be facing or when that potential penalty would be announced.
