Ryback Done With WWE

Ryback is now a free agent.

In an Instagram post on Friday afternoon, the former Skip Sheffield announced that he and the WWE had officially parted ways. The two had been at a stand-still as it pertained to contract negotiations for a couple of months

“The Big Guy, Ryback would like to wish the WWE well in their future endeavors. From this point forth, the WWE and I will no longer be doing business together. I’d like to personally say thank you to all of the WWE performers I’ve had the pleasure of being in the ring with. Successful people are always hungry, what are you?,” he said.

The former Intercontinental Champion announced that he was starting a new website, clothing line, as well as wrestling a full schedule.

Ryback had been with the WWE for the better part of 12 years. Starting out on WWE Tough Enough in 2004, Ryback finally debuted as a part of the first season of NXT, and subsequently in Nexus before later being repackaged as Ryback. He had his last match three months ago against Kalisto at WWE Payback.
