Layla: Natalya Is Phenomenal, She Deserves To Be In WWE Hall Of Fame While Active
Layla believes that Natalya should join Rey Mysterio in the group of WWE Superstars inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame while still being an active competitor.
Layla has plenty of history with Natalya. Natalya captured her first WWE Divas Title by defeating LayCool, Layla’s tag team with Michelle McCool. They made history together as Natalya teamed with Beth Phoenix at WWE TLC 2010 to defeat LayCool in the first-ever women’s Tag Team Tables Match. Fourteen years later, three of those women have long since retired from full-time competition, while Natalya is still going strong.
Speaking during an interview on the They Made Their Way to the Ring podcast, Layla said she would Like to see Natalya get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame while she is still an active competitor and praised Nattie for all that she does to give back to the business.
“Nattie is phenomenal. He career is still flourishing because she is so giving. She is not just there for herself. She teaches. When she retires, I think she’ll be an agent for the women. She should because she is amazing for this business. She lives WWE and wrestling. She has so much more to give. She’s somebody that is friends with everybody. She gets along with everybody,” Layla said. “She does deserve (to be inducted into WWE Hall of Fame while active). I think she will get that. I do think she is one of the only ones that will get that. I do think she’ll be inducted into the Hall of Fame before her career is over. She is great. She’s a legend. I have nothing but positive things to say about Nattie.”
