The Undertaker: It Was Fun Taking The RKO, Randy Was Always Smooth As Silk
The Undertaker enjoyed taking the RKO from Randy Orton.
Having been a top WWE Superstar for multiple decades, Undertaker has taken almost every major finisher from every major WWE name and several finishers from superstars who have fallen by the wayside through the years.
On the latest Q&A exclusive to his Patreon, Undertaker named the RKO as one of his favorite moves to take and said that Randy Orton was always somebody who operated in a very smooth fashion.
“When I was still moving really well it was fun kind of taking the RKO. You could actually really make that — Randy was always smooth as silk with it but if your timing was right, you could really lay out well for it and — it wasn’t too terrible on the body to take.”
The Undertaker was the recipient of many RKOs on WWE television during his 2005 feud with Randy Orton which helped Randy Orton elevate to another level after his first run as World Heavyweight Champion only lasted one month in 2004.
Maven, someone who’s had multiple run-ins with Undertaker and Randy Orton, had similar praise for the RKO and Randy Orton’s abilities. Read his comments here.
