Logan Paul: It Took A Little Massaging And Finessing When Pitching IShowSpeed To WWE
Logan Paul discusses IShowSpeed’s WrestleMania cameo.
IShowSpeed went viral at WrestleMania XL after he was revealed as the man in the PRIME bottle for Logan Paul’s entrance. IShow barked at Randy Orton, and was then kicked in the chest before being hit with an RKO on the announce table.
Speaking on ImPAULsive, Logan discussed securing IShow for Mania.
“When I was pitching him to the WWE. It took a little massaging. It took a little finessing for us to convince them that we had this young creator, who is still a teenager, he’s 19, who is just an internet phenom. Everything he touches goes crazy viral because he has that charismatic, contagious energy. He barked in Randy Orton’s face,” he said. “I tried to explain to Nina [Nina Agdal], my beautiful fiance, ‘we signed this new guy IShowSpeed, he’s a phenom.’ She’s like, ‘How much are you paying him?’ I told her. She goes, ‘You’re paying that guy that much, I’ve never even heard of him.’ ‘You’re out of touch, you don’t understand.’ This guy is a sensation. A YouTube internet sensation.”
While it is unknown how much IShow got for his efforts, Logan did gift him with a Cybertruck after the event.
Elsewhere during the interview, Logan commented on Samantha Irvin calling him a “cringe overreactor.” You can find his full comments by clicking here.
