WWE NXT Roadblock (3/5/2024).
- After a video package narrated by Lexis King previewing the card for tonight, Booker T. Huffman & Vic Joseph welcomed the audience to the broadcast before transitioning into the opening match.
- Asylum Match: DIJAK def. Joe Gacy.
- Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo & Adrianna Rizzo were with Tony D’Angelo before inviting Luca Crucifino into the locker room. D’Angelo offered Crucifino the role of Consigliere of The Family, which Crucifino accepted.
- Riley Osbourne spoke with Fallon Henley about his date, saying that Thea Hail got bad advice during their date. Blair Davenport interrupted and made fun of Henley, telling her that she should stop trying to solve other people’s problems.
- Tatum Paxley & NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria talked about strategy ahead of their match, where Valkyria said that they had a professional relationship. Valkyria promised to do anything to win the Tag Titles and promised to take out the will of their opponents, which creeped out Valkyria.
- NXT Tag Team Championship Match: Wolf Dogs (Baron Corbin & Bron Breakker) (c) def. Chase University (Andre Chase & Duke Hudson) (w/ Riley Osbourne, Jasmyn Nyx, Jacy Jayne & Thea Hail).
- Carmelo Hayes was interviewed by Kelly Kincaid backstage, where he promised to become the #1 Contender tonight and make history by headlining Stand & Deliver on back-to-back years.
- Shawn Spears def. Uriah Connors.
- Connors was none other than the man formerly known as Brogan Finlay, the son of Fit Finlay.
- After the match, Shawn Spears cut a promo calling out Ridge Holland, where he said that he did not believe Holland was wrestling for his family. Spears said that the difference between himself & Holland was that he was satisfied with the man he saw in the mirror.
Holland attacked Spears, tossing him across the ring. Spears gave a chair to Holland and told him to swing it at Spears, but an army of referees stopped the Brawling Brute. The Chairman has made his impact.
- Josh Briggs confronted Brooks Jensen backstage after he challenged Oba Femi last week, but Jensen said that it did not matter what Briggs told him he would hunt down Femi. After Jensen left, DIJAK confronted Briggs and told him that he knew Jensen was a dead man walking.
- Kelly Kincaid interviewed NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov, where he put over both Tony D’Angelo & Carmelo Hayes ahead of their #1 Contenders Match tonight. Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo & Luca Crucifino interrupted the interview and told Dragunov that D’Angelo would get a title shot by any means necessary.
- WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: Damage CTRL’s Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane) (c) def. Lyra Valkyria & Tatum Paxley.
- Roxanne Perez attacked Valkyria and Paxley after the match, but that was until Perez locked Valkyria’s arm and hit Pentagon Jr’s “El Sacrificio” to damage Valkyria’s arm.
- Fallon Henley def. Blair Davenport.
- Sol Ruca made her return to NXT after injury, hitting Davenport with a Flipping Diamond Cutter on Davenport. She tossed Davenport into the ring, allowing Henley to hit the Shinning Wizard for the win.
- Jacy Jayne & Jasmyn Nyx scolded Andre Chase & Duke Hudson backstage before a dizzy Thea Hail appeared. Hail asked Jayne if she could be her tag partner for next week, but Jayne denied the offer because she would be “busy”.
- NXT General Manager Ava spoke with Gigi Dolin about Arianna Grace rejecting the offer for a match for next week before Arianna Grace came to the ring and said that she did not see the point of fighting, which Dolin found bogus because she was in wrestling. Grace said that she would accept only if Grace was allowed to show Dolin her “inner beauty”, which Dolin accepted.
- No Quarter Catch Crew (Myles Bourne, Damon Kemp, Drew Gulak & NXT Heritage Cup Champion Charlie Dempsey) came to the ring to cut a promo. Gulak put over Dempsey, calling him one of the most unique grapplers in all of wrestling. Dempsey said that he was proud of winning the cup before revealing that the No Quarter Catch Crew would defend the Cup. Gulak revealed the faction would enter the NXT Tag Championship Eliminator Tournament.
Surprisingly, Charlie Dempsey’s father, Sir William Regal, made his NXT return to meet the faction. Regal told them that he hoped the faction would defend the cup with honor, to which Dempsey cheekily responded by saying that he would defend it better than Regal ever could. - Noam Dar sat on a couch backstage frozen, which made Lash Legend & Oro Mensah scared. Dar came back to life, telling Legend & Mensah that the past was the past and that it was time to focus on the Meta-Future.
- Von Wagner met Mr. Stone backstage, where he promised to beat Lexis King; however, Stone told Wagner that he had to do it on his own.
- NXT Championship – #1 Contender’s Match: Tony D’Angelo def. Carmelo Hayes.
- The finish came when Trick Williams’s theme music played in the arena, which bamboozled Hayes. This was a trap by D’Angelo, as he took advantage of the distraction to hit the One-Hand Slam and a Fisherman’s Buster for the win.
- After the match, D’Angelo apologized to the fans for the trick and decided to give them something they wanted as the forgiving Don he was. This ended up being the actual return of Trick Williams, who took out everyone in sight before tossing Hayes out of the ring. Williams stood tall to end the broadcast.
