Jake Ellenberger Has A Plan To Beat Mike Perry
Jake Ellenberger will be competing at UFC Fight Night 108 against highly touted welterweight Mike Perry.
Ellenberger plans on walking away with his hand raised that night and he has the perfect game plan to get the job done, one he learned while watching Alan Jouban fight Perry.
“There’s a blueprint, really, to beat anybody,” Ellenberger told MMA Junkie Radio. “There’s definitely a schematic that Jouban played well into. With Perry, he’s a pretty straightforward guy.”
The longtime UFC fighter does enter the fight against Perry with a huge experience advantage, as he has competed in 33 more MMA fights than his opponent has.
That experience will be helpful to Ellenberger, who also noticed a lot of holes in the style that Perry fights in the Octagon with.
“When I see Mike, I see a lot of that young, hungry kid,” he said. “But there’s definitely a lot of holes and ways to take advantage.”
UFC Fight Night 108 takes place on Saturday, April 22 from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee with Cub Swanson and Artem Lobov headlining. Fightful will be providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
