Kurt Angle Explains Why He Thinks Bringing The Six-Sided Ring Back Would Be Good For TNA Wrestling
Kurt Angle thinks it would be a great move for TNA to go back to having a six-sided ring.
While Kurt Angle was known for being very proficient in traditional professional wrestling, he also spent the majority of his career in TNA wrestling and plenty of time wrestling inside of a six-sided ring.
With the return of TNA Wrestling looming, it has already been decided that TNA will be sticking to a traditional squared circle. However, on the latest episode of his podcast, The Kurt Angle Show, the TNA Hall of Famer revealed why he believes that it would be a great idea for TNA to return to the unique ring that helped the company stand out as an alternative.
“I think it’s a great idea. I’ll tell you this, the six-sided ring is a lot faster. Guys are coming off the ropes quicker because it’s a smaller ring. I think that’s why TNA, it’s really action-packed because there’s not a lot of dead time. Okay, when you’re in there, you bounce off the ropes, one step, one-and-a-half steps, and you’re going to step into the opponent that’s going to end up throwing you. The ring is a lot smaller when it’s six sides than when it’s four sides.”
