Rest in peace, Mad Kurt.
On Friday, December 29, RevPro Wrestling took to social media to share the tragic news of Mad Kurt’s passing.
Many wrestlers, promotions, and personalities took to social media to pay tribute to Kurt and his life that was tragically cut short.
My love and condolences to the friends and family of Mad Kurt –.
We never had the chance to meet in person sadly but spoke briefly in DMs. I messaged him to say how much I loved following his Twitter antics.
A wonderful man that will be greatly missed —- https://t.co/uOozzrsMg5

Kurtis Chapman was the best.
Entertained me when I was just a fan, spoke to me when I was just a trainee and helping at shows and full on creased me up in the locker room the few times I was lucky enough to share one with him.
Mad Kurt forever. — https://t.co/L4fkMjjQhD

Mad Kurt was one of the easiest people I’ve ever worked with, he was always up for absolutely anything. The most sound guy in the locker room too.
Devastating news — gone far too soon mate. Keep dabbing —- https://t.co/rm9gJHNeRB

It breaks my heart to hear about the sudden and unexpected passing of Mad Kurt. My only interactions with Kurt ever came on social media, but I was a fan of his antics and his abilities in the ring. This is a big loss for pro wrestling.

We only met once in Brighton but it was a lasting impression. His infectious laughter and his continued comedy on this app never failed to humor me. We have truly lost someone genuine. Rest easy Mad Kurt.

Waking up to read the loss of Mad Kurt is hard for me grasp. He was always quick with a comeback, with a sense of wit and comedic timing that was often under-appreciated. I can still hear his bits he’d do at the pubs after shows. “Got you” lived in my head rent free.
Rest Kurt–

Timeline full of Kurtis Chapman. Nothing but love for an extremely talented wrestler but, more importantly, a wonderful human being.
To leave before your 30th birthday is cruel. To have given so much to so many in the time you were here is truly special.
