The Blackpool Combat Club vs. FTR And Mark Briscoe Set For ROH Final Battle 2023
Bryan Danielson and Wheeler Yuta issue a special challenge in honor of Jay Briscoe.
Bryan Danielson, a man who has been synonymous with Ring of Honor’s past, made a special appearance in the December 7 episode of Ring of Honor on HonorClub. Danielson stood alongside Wheel Yuta, the current Ring of Honor Pure Champion, and spoke about the history of the event.
Danielson said that 20 years ago, he had his one and only singles match against Jay Briscoe at Ring of Honor Final Battle 2003. Danielson also recalled the Dog Collar Match between FTR’s Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler and Mark & Jay Briscoe at last year’s event.
Danielson then went on to challenge FTR & Mark Briscoe to a Trios Match against The Blackpool Combat Club for this year’s Final Battle in honor of the memory of Jay Briscoe who passed away in early 2023.
