Bryan Danielson Has Undergone Surgery For Broken Orbital Bone, Out ‘Until Later In The Year’

An update on Bryan Danielson.

On the November 1 episode of AEW Control Center, Tony Schiavone said that Bryan Danielson has undergone surgery for his broken orbital bone and is out “until later in the year.”

On the October 25 episode of AEW Dynamite, Danielson took an Orange Punch from Orange Cassidy and a Rainmaker for Kazuchika Okada. He was clutching his face and was attended to by AEW officials as the show went off the air. Tony Khan said after the show that Danielson was able to walk out on his own power.

Danielson’s injury was first announced on the October 28 episode of AEW Collision. Claudio Castagnoli said that they were unsure if Okada or Cassidy injured Danielson, but he vowed revenge on both men.

Claudio will face Orange Cassidy for the AEW International Championship on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite.

Fightful will update fans on Danielson’s condition when more is known.
