Joey Janela Coming To NJPW Lonestar Shootout, Targets Toru Yano In Vignette

“The Bad Boy” Joey Janela is coming to NJPW.

During a vignette on the NJPW Fighting Spirit Unleashed event, Joey Janela appeared to be throwing darts at a picture of Toru Yano. After a few direct hits, he turned to face the camera and flashed A Smile as text revealed that he would be coming to New Japan as part of NJPW Lonestar Shootout on November 10. 

AEW previously employed Joey Janela and spends his time currently working on the independent circuit, regularly appearing for GCW.

It was previously announced that the NJPW Lonestar Shootout event would be held at the Curtis Culwell Center in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

– NJPW STRONG Openweight Championship: Eddie Kingston (c) vs. Satoshi Kojima 

– NJPW STRONG Openweight Tag Team Championship: ELP & Hikuleo (c) vs. West Coast Wrecking Crew (Jorel Nelson & Royce Isaacs)

– Joey Janela, Jon Moxley, Ultimo Guerrero, and more set to appear
