Results for the 10/7/2023 edition of WWE Fastlane.

On October 6, 2023, WWE hosted a new edition of WWE Fastlane from Indianapolis, Indiana on Peacock & the WWE Network (Internationally).

The show was headlined by John Cena & LA Knight facing The Bloodline, and Judgment Day’s Finn Balor & Damian Priest defending the WWE Tag Titles against Jey Uso & Cody Rhodes. Full results are listed below.

WWE Fastlane (10/7/2023).

  • For AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill was seen arriving to the arena backstage. She shook Triple H’s hand after arriving.
  • There was a video recapping the feud between The Judgment Day and the team of Cody Rhodes & Jey Uso ahead of their match for the title in the opening contest.
  • Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship Match: Cody Rhodes & Jey Uso def. The Judgment Day (Finn Balor & Damian Priest) (c) (w/ Rhea Ripley, Dominik Mysterio & JD McDonagh)/ NEW CHAMPIONS!
    • The end of the match came when JD McDonagh accidentally hit Damian Priest in the leg with the Money In The Bank briefcase, allowing Rhodes to hit a Crossroads on Priest off the broadcast table into the floor. After Uso wiped out McDonagh & Balor on the outside with a Tope Con Giro, Rhodes & Uso got Balor back in and hit a 3D (Flapjack/ Cody Cutter Combo) before Rhodes hit the Crossroads on Balor for the win.
  • Backstage, Wade Barrett, Booker T & Xavier Woods talked backstage about the WWE Fastlane card. Woods then offered Pizza Hut for them. 
  • LWO (Rey Mysterio, Santos Escobar & Carlito Colon) (w/ Zelina Vega) def. Bobby Lashley & The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford).
    • Carlito appeared in the last parts of the match, making his WWE Return. Mysterio hit a dive on the outside, but was caught by Lashley with a pounce before Escobar hit a Tope Suicida on “The All-Mighty”. Back in the ring, Carlito hit the Backstabber on Montez Ford to pick up the win.
  • WWE Women’s Championship Match: Iyo Sky (c) (w/ Bayley) vs. Asuka vs. Charlotte Flair.
    • In the last sequence of the match, Charlotte Flair locked in the Figure Eight Lock on Asuka. Asuka tapped out, but the referee was distracted by Bayley. This distraction allowed Sky to hit the Moonsault Press on Flair for the win & title retention.
  • Pat McAfee appeared in the ring to address Indianapolis. McAfee stated that he believed the city deserved a WrestleMania. He introduced John Cena ahead of his match teaming with LA Knight against The Bloodline. He joined the broadcast team for the match.
  • John Cena & LA Knight def. The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa & Jimmy Uso) (w/ Paul Heyman).
  • Backstage, Damian Priest told Dominik Mysterio & Finn Balor that he would not leave tonight empty-handed and promised to cash in his briefcase. Rhea Ripley told Priest to not rush the cash in before asking Priest to hand in the briefcase, which he obliged. 
  • Dean McMahon (Shane McMahon’s son) was spotted in the crowd.
  • WWE World Heavyweight Championship – Last Man Standing Match: Seth Rollins (c) def. Shinsuke Nakamura.
