Rhyno: Christian Cage Will Be A Great Producer Or Part Of Creative, He Can Help Develop New Talent

Rhyno and Kurt Angle praise Christian Cage. 

Rhyno and Kurt Angle both spent a chunk of their freshman years with WWE paired with Edge and Christian. For a brief time, their foursome was known as Team RECK, and all four of them went on to have legendary careers worthy of any pro wrestling Hall of Fame. 

Christian Cage is now in AEW, and Rhyno, while appearing on the most recent episode of The Kurt Angle Show, noted that he hopes to see Christian transition into a role as a producer or in creative when he officially chooses to hang up his boots. 

“He’s great in the ring, he’s a great person. Him and Edge, I couldn’t have been aligned with two better guys starting out early in my career,” Rhyno said. “Christian, I like him as a babyface, and he’s a good babyface, but he’s a great heel. Just the stuff where where, like a turtleneck and stuff. He’s got such a great mind for wrestling, and he puts in the time, and it really shows. Same thing with Edge. “

Kurt Angle then said he believes Christian will make a great producer down the road, and Rhyno says that even if it’s not producing, he wants to see the former World Champion help develop talent in some way. 

“Even if it’s not producing, creative, or something. If one day he just says, ‘Hey, I’m retiring. I’m done with wrestling.’ The wrestling business is really going to suffer if he just walks away from it because he can help develop new talent. Hopefully, he doesn’t just say, ‘Hey, I’m done. I’m gonna go and live my life out.” 

Rhyno, Christian, and Angle also had a TNA World Title Triple Threat that lasted a full episode of IMPACT in 2007. Check out the full video above.
