Aubrey Edwards Says She’s Working On New ‘Stuff’ For AEW Games That She Can’t Talk About Yet

Aubrey Edwards says she’s working on “other titles” for AEW Games that she can’t talk about just yet.

Aubrey Edwards was instrumental in the development of AEW’s first mobile game, AEW: Elite General Manager. Recently, however, AEW Games focused on the release of the company’s first-ever console video game, AEW Fight Forever.

Speaking about the release of AEW Fight Forever during an appearance on the Under Ther Ring Podcast, Edwards said she’s very proud of the team behind the game, but clarified again that she personally had nothing to do with the development.

She also revealed that she is working on other games right now for AEW, but it’s not anything she can speak on yet.

“I’m really proud of Fight Forever. I was not actually involved with the team and Fight Forever, but the team that was did an incredible job,” she said. “I know a lot of those guys, like Kenny Omega, had never developed a game before, so going through that process and having made — I previously worked on 12 separate video games before joining AEW, so kind of seeing how that sausage gets made, and seeing someone go through that process for the first time. Like, I know what that feels like. I know those blood, sweat, and tears all too well. I’m so, so incredibly proud of everyone behind the scenes for pulling that off. I’m working on other stuff for AEW Games that I can’t talk about yet. It’s super, super exciting.

“So previously, I’d worked on AEW Elite General Manager, which was our mobile General Manager simulator that came out about two years ago. Yeah, I’m working on some other titles. We’ll just say that,” she added.

On June 26, AEW filed to trademark the term “AEW: Rise To The Top” for the purposes of mobile gaming. Learn more at this link.

Also, All Elite Wrestling and Warner Bros. Discovery recently announced a new mobile game, “AEW: Figure Fighters.” The game is set to be released in 2024. Learn more here.
