Kurt Angle On Paul Heyman Saying Bloodline Story Is In Its Third Inning: I Think He’s Full Of Shit

Kurt Angle believes that Paul Heyman is not necessarily being truthful when he says that The Bloodline storyline is only at the bottom of the third inning.

Following Roman Reigns’ defeat of his cousin, Jey Uso, in Tribal Combat at WWE SummerSlam 2023, Paul Heyman said that the storyline was only in the bottom of the third inning and that they haven’t even reached their stride yet.

Kurt Angle doesn’t believe this.

Speaking on the most recent episode of The Kurt Angle Show podcast, Angle flat out says that he believes Paul Heyman was “full of shit” at that moment and would go so far as to say that Paul Heyman is probably going crazy thinking of how the storyline is going to continue.

“The storyline is great, I love it, but I think Heyman was full of shit,” he said. “I think they’re in the eighth inning, and they’re stressed. They’re making shit up now. That’s what I believe. Paul Heyman, I know him, and I know that he’s probably going crazy right now, ‘What do we do next?'”

Angle also said that at this point, WWE might as well consider having Roman Reigns break Bruno Sammartino’s all-time record of 2,803 days as WWE Champion.

In the past, Angle has opened up about WWE potentially running the risk of not making any new stars while building Roman Reigns up to an unbeatable status. Read more here
