Matt Cardona Brings WWE Women’s Tag Title To DDT Pro, Wins DDT Pro Universal Title
Matt Cardona had a blast in Japan.
Matt Cardona entered DDT Wrestle Peter Pan with one-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships, currently held by his wife Chelsea Green, and exited with the DDT Pro Universal Championship.
Cardona, with help from Steph De Lander, defeated Tetsuya Endo to capture the DDT Pro Universal Title.
Maki Itoh, who has been feuding with Cardona and De Lander in GCW alongside Nick Gage, confronted Cardona after the bout.

Cardona has been calling himself one-half of one-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions given his marriage to Green, who holds the titles with Sonya Deville. Green is currently in San Diego at Comic Con sporting the actual WWE Women’s Tag Team Title.
