Moxley last wrestled for DEFY at the DEFY Year 6 event on February 11, 2023. There, he and Schaff defeated Zack Sabre Jr. and Davey Richards.
Moxley has not wrestled as frequently on the independent scene since he signed a new contract with AEW in September 2022. In recent months, he has competed at two NJPW shows, and he has also wrestled for Wrestling REVOLVER.
At NJPW STRONG Independence Day, Moxley is set to team up with Homicide to face El Desperado and a partner of his choosing. More information is available here.
On the June 14 episode of AEW Dynamite, Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta will face Hangman Page and the Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson). Fightful will have live coverage of the show as it airs.
