– After a video recap of nights one & two of WWE Draft, Vic Joseph & Booker T welcomed the audience to the broadcast before transitioning to the opening match.
NXT North American Championship Match.
Wes Lee (w/ Tyler Bate) vs. Drew Gulak (w/ Charlie Dempsey).
Lee hit a dropkick and a series of body shots on Gulak to send him to the outside to begin the match. Dempsey distracted Lee before Gulak got a roll-up on Lee for a near fall. The two exchanged pins before Lee kicked Gulak in the chest and thigh before hitting a double stomp on Gulak’s back. Lee slammed Gulak with an Irish Whip before catching him with a rolling forearm in the corner. Lee went for a Superplex on Gulak, but Gulak blocked it. Lee landed on his feet after being dropped by Gulak, but Gulaj responded with a diving lariat on Lee for a near fall. Gulak wrapped Lee’s legs before hitting a Reverse LeRae Stomp on Lee for a near fall. Gulak locked in a Yuta Lock on Lee, but Lee broke the hold before the two exchanged strikes. Lee fired away with punches on Gulak before hitting a snap-mare dropkick on Gulak. Lee hit a corner uppercut and went for a German Suplex, but Gulak held on to the ropes before rolling to the outside. Lee hit a Tope Suicida on Gulak before Lee sent Gulak back into the ring. Dempsey tried to pull Lee out, but Bate caught him on the outside with an uppercut. Back in the ring, Lee hit an enziguri kick on Gulak before catching him with the Cardiac Kick for the pinfall win.
Tyler Bate continued to stare at the title after the match.
Winner AND STILL NXT North American Champion: Wes Lee.
– There was a video package recapping the match between Carmelo Hayes & Grayson Waller and Bron Breakker’s attack on Hayes & Trick Williams after the match.
– There was a video vignette of NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Isla Dawn & Alba Fyre ahead of their title match & call up to SmackDown. Dawn & Fyre promised to take the tag titles to SmackDown with them and leave NXT in darkness.
– Trick Williams was in the ring to cut a promo. He recalled his relationship with Hayes, dealing that they had been a unit since High School. Williams said that he put his body to protect Hayes & would do it again if needed. Bron Breakker interrupted the promo and said that he did not want to represent the crowd again, but said that the opportunity to humiliate Hayes in his hometown in NXT Battleground called his attention and told Williams to relay the message. Williams told Breakker to settle their issues like men before telling Breakker that he would need a mouthpiece because he would leave him black and blue. Breakker challenged him to a match next week.
– McKenzie Mitchell interviewed JD McDonagh, who stated that he had a 21-year on his shoulder. Noam Dar interrupted him and asked McDoangh to blow Dragon Lee’s kneecap to keep him away from the NXT Heritage Cup, but McDonagh responded to stay away from him or he would take the cup to Raw.
– There was a TikTok video of Dani Palmer ahead of her NXT Debut later in the night.
Gigi Dolin vs. Jacy Jayne.
Jayne & Dolin evaded each other’s strikes before Jayne hit a knee lift on Dolin, but Dolin responded by tossing her out of the ring. Jayne slammed Dolin onto the apron before hitting Dolin with a Running Cannonball on Dolin on the outside and talking trash to Dolin’s little brother on ringside. Back in the ring, Jayne hit a senton and two kicks on Dolin, but only got a near fall. Jayne hit a thrust kick on Dolin, but Dolin responded with a thrust kick of her own. Dolin hit three Roundhouse Kicks and an STO on Jayne, but Jayne kicked out at two. Dolin went for a German Suple on Jayne, but Jayne evaded before being caught with a lariat to the neck by Dolin. Dolin slammed Jayne across the barricade before hitting a series of PK Kicks on Jayne, busting her head open, Jon Moxley style. Jayne got on the apron and then slammed Dolin’s head right into the exposed turnbuckle before hitting a Tornado Kick for the pinfall win.
Jayne attacked Dolin outside of the ring after the match, but was stopped by an army of referees.
Winner: Jacy Jayne.
Axiom vs. SCRYPTS.
SCRYPTS leaped into the ring and caught Axiom with a kick before the match. Axiom & SCRYPTS exchanged pins to begin the match before Axiom got a Juji Gatame on SCRYPTS, but SCRYPTS rolled out of the ring. The two brawled on the outside before SCRYPTS hit a dive off the broadcast table onto Axiom. Back in the ring, SCRYPTS caught Axiom with an elbow strike, but Axiom responded by locking in a Sleeper on SCRYPTS. SCRYPTS & Axiom climbed to the top rope, but SCRYPTS dropped Axiom before hitting a Diving Asai Moonsault on Axiom for a near fall. SCRYPTS continued to attack Axiom, but Axiom responded with a series of chops, a dropkick, a corner enziguri kick, and a suplex on SCRYPTS. Axiom went for a dive, but SCRYPTS caught him with a dropkick before going for a kick, but Axiom rolled him up and hit a vicious V-Trigger on SCRYPTS. SCRYPTS slid under Axiom’s Golden Ratio and hit a Twisting Splash before going for a Diving Bronco Buster, but Axiom caught him mid-air with a vicious thrust kick before hitting the Golden Ratio for the pinfall win.
Axiom took off the mask of SCRYPTS to reveal the former 24/7 Champion Reggie being the man behind the mask.
Winner: Axiom.
– Brooks Jensen, Josh Briggs & Fallon Henley talked in their bar before saying that they were happy to be reunited. Jensen talked about real estate before two women invited him for a drink, but Jensen politely declined the offer.
Dragon Lee vs. JD McDonagh.
The match began with Lee hitting a shoulder tackle and a wrist lock on McDonagh. JD tried to get off the hold with multiple tactics, including a Monkey Flip, but Lee maintained the hold before McDoangh leaned Lee into the corner and hit a body shot. The two ran the ropes before Lee hit a Reverse Monkey Flip and a dropkick on JD for a near fall. Lee sent McDonagh into the corner and hit a Springboard kick and the Two Bull’s Horns on McDonagh. Noam Dar joined the match at ringside, which allowed JD to hit a running dropkick on Lee and hang Lee upside down in the corner. JD went for a sliding kick on Lee’s head, but Lee got up and sent JD to crash nards first into the ring post. Lee hit two lariats, a back-drop and a lariat to send JD flying to the outside.
During the picture-in-picture break, Lee hit a double under-hook back-breaker on JD for a near fall. Lee slammed JD into the corner with an Irish Whip before firing away with punches on the Irish Ace, but JD tripped Lee before hitting a Tornillo Splash on Lee for a near fall. JD hit a Side backbreaker on Lee, but Lee kicked out at two. JD continued to target Lee’s back before locking in the Leg Scissors on the former ROH Television Champion before turning it into a leg scissor Crucifix Pin for a near fall.
After the break, Lee hit a series of back elbows on JD to break the hold, but JD responded with a forearm strike to the back. JD got Lee on the top rope and tried to take off Lee’s mask, but Lee dropped JD off the top rope before hitting a Diving Plancha on McDonagh. Lee hit a series of strikes and a Hurricanrana to send JD to the outside before catching him with a Tope Con Giro to the outside. Back in the ring, Lee climbed to the top rope and hit the Coup de Grace, and ode to McDonagh’s mentor Finn Balor, for a near fall. The two exchanged strikes on the apron before Lee hit a vicious V-Trigger on JD, but McDonagh responded by hitting a Death Valley Driver on Lee onto the apron. McDonagh slammed Lee into the broadcast table to get the count-out win, but Lee got back in at the count of nine. Back in the ring, the two exchanged strikes before Lee hit a Snap-German, a V-Trigger & a Poison Rana on McDonagh, but McDonagh responded with a lariat on Lee. The two exchanged forearm strikes before JD hit a series of kicks, a pimp lap, and went for a Powerbomb but Lee rolled over and hit a Liger Bomb on McDonagh for a near fall. Lee climbed to the top rope, but McDonagh moved the rope before meeting him at the top. Lee got JD hanging, but JD responded with a headbutt before hitting Lee with a Spanish Fly into a Brainbuster on Lee for a near fall. JD went for a Saito Suplex, but Lee caught him with a Canadian Destroyer to send him to the outside. Lee hit a Thrust Kick on Dar, but McDoangh caught him inside the ring and hit the Devil Inside for the pinfall win.
Dragon Lee & Noam Dar brawled outside of the ring after the match while McDonagh was serenaded by the crowd.
Winner: JD McDonagh.
– Kayden Carter & Katana Chance talked backstage ahead of their match against the Unholy Union later in the night. They promised that in their last night in NXT before joining Monday Night Raw full-time, they promised to regain the NXT Women’s Tag Titles.
– Joe Gacy promised The Dyad to win his match against Joe Coffey. Ava Raine then told Gacy to win his match for The Dyad, but do something for himself afterward.
– There was a video recap of the attacks of Nikkita Lyons, Wendy Choo & Sol Ruca, teasing that the culprit may have been the same person.
If Gacy Wins, The Dyad Get A Title Shot.
Joe Gacy (w/ Rip Fowler, Jagger Reid & Ava Raine) vs. Joe Coffey (w/ Wolfgang & Mark Coffey).
The two heavyweights locked up before Coffey hit an uppercut on Gacy, but Gacy responded with corner lariats. The two exchanged vicious strikes before Coffey hit. running slash on Gacy, but Gacy responded with. aV-Trigger. Gacy went for a Senton, but Coffey blocked it before going for a lariat, but Gacy caught him and hit a Uranage on Coffey for a near fall. Gacy sent Coffey with an Irish Ship, but Coffey evaded and hit an uppercut, a shoulder tackle, and an Overhead Suplex on Gacy for a near fall. Gacy hit a forearm strike on Coffey before hitting a Saito Suplex on Coffey for a near fall. Coffey caught Gacy with a jab before hitting a diving dropkick, a Glasgow Send-Off, and the Discus Lariat on Gacy, but The Dyad got Gacy’s arm to break the pin. Everything broke down before Raine distracted the referee, allowing Gacy to hit the Upside Down Lariat for the pinfall win.
The Creed Brothers & Ivy Nile watched the match backstage.
Winner: Joe Gacy.
– Dani Palmer was hyped up by Hank Walker & Tank Ledger before her match. They tried to invite Oba Femi to watch the match, but Femi walked out of shot.
– There was a segment of Damon Kemp & Eddy Thorpe arguing backstage before Kemp asked him to throw a water bottle into the trash before Kemp called Thorpe a Young Boy.
Dani Palmer vs. Tatum Paxley.
The two locked up before Palmer evaded Paxley’s offense with a Cartwheel and locking in a Deathlock on Paxley. Palmer got back up and got a wrist lock on Paxley, but Paxley attacked her abdomen. Palmer leaped over Paxley and hit the Tijeras and hit a Kip-up pin on Paxley for a near fall. Palmer got a headlock on Paxley. Palmer tried t leap over Paxley, but Paxley stayed back and attacked Palmer’s back before hitting a Gut Wrench Suplex for a near fall. Paxley hit a forearm strike, a takedown, and a standing splash on Palmer for a near fall. Paxley went for a Bulldog Choke on Palmer before transitioning into an Abdominal Stretch, but Palmer split to evade before running the ropes and hitting two back elbows, a leaping code breaker, and a neck breaker. Paxley went for an O’Connor Roll, but Palmer rolled over and hit a Sliced Bread before hitting a Leaping Frog Splash for the pinfall win.
Winner: Dani Palmer.
– The students of Chase University were in the classroom, but they received a notification of Andre Chase canceling their class. Duke Hudson, of all people, took over and hosted the class. He was asked if there was a pop quiz today, which led to Hudson demanding them to rip up the quizzes before he started brainstorming the name “Duke University”.
– There was a backstage segment between Mr. Stone & Von Wagner detailing the career of the Beverly Brothers. Mr. Stone tried to speak to him about a picture from his baby years, but Wagner ran out of the shot.
NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship Match.
The Unholy Union (Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn) (c) vs. Kayden Carter & Katana Chance.
Fyre & Dawn attacked Carter & Chance before the match, but Carter tossed Chance onto the Unholy Union on the outside. Back in the ring, Chance got a sunset flip on Fyre for a near fall. Chance caught Dawn with an enziguri kick before tagging in Carter. Carter tossed Fyre & Dawn before hitting Fyre with a cross-body while Chance hit a twisting cross-body on Dawn. During the break, Dawn & Carter ran the ropes before Fyre tagged in and pulled Carter into a forearm strike on the apron. Fyre & Dawn double-teamed Carter in the corner before catching her in a Tarantula/ Thrust Kick combo for a near fall. Fyre got a headlock on Carter and kept the hold for a lengthy period of time.
After the hold, Carter broke the hold and tagged in Chance. Chance tripped Fyre before watching her with a dropkick, a Hurricanrana, a corner lariat, and a Front Flip Leg Drop on Fyre for a near fall. Chance & Carter hit a springboard Moonsault/ Leg Drop combo on Fyre for a near fall, which was followed up by Chance going for a Wheelbarrow Moonsault, but Fyre blocked it with a knee drop. Dawn & Fyre hit the Back-Stabber/ Swanton Bomb combination on Chance, but Carter speared Fyre to break the hold. Carter hit a Blade Runner on Fyre, but Dawn caught her with a forearm before Chance caught Dawn with a Code Breaker. Carter & Chance hit the Neck Breaker/ 450 Splash Combination on Dawn, but Fyre broke the count. The four women got in the ring and exchanged strikes before Fyre hit a Thrust Kick on Carter. Fyre kicked Carter on the apron and climbed to the top rope, but Chance pushed Dawn onto the rope to drop her. This allowed Carter to tag in before Chance & Carter hit an Avalanche Double Spanish Fly on Fyre, but Fyre kicked out at two. Carter & Chance went for another neck breaker, but Chance hit a cross-body on Dawn. Chance went for the Hurricanrana on Fyre, but Fyre caught her and slammed her onto Carter before hitting a Gory Bomb/ Flat Liner combo for the pinfall win.
Winners AND STILL NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions: Isla Dawn & Alba Fyre.
– There was a video vignette of DIJAK talking trash about Ilja Dragunov, promising to finally break Ilja Dragunov next week.
– Trick Williams met with Apollo Crews in the Parking Lot. Crews told Williams that he sees a lot in him and could take over NXT before telling him to not let his talents go to waste.
– NXT Women’s Champion Indi Hartwell cut a promo after being called up to Monday Night Raw, recalling her debut to WWE at the age of 23. She credited “The Way” for her rise in NXT, including being proud of having one of the few WWE Weddings with no interruptions. Hartwell said that she was not going to let her title run end int he hospital table. Hartwell said that starting next week, there would be a tournament to crown a new NXT Women’s Champion. Indi Hartwell relinquished the title and left with Dexter Lumis.
After that touching moment, all hell broke lose as all of the wrestlers from NXT’s Women’s Division tried to make their statement for the title. The chaos was being controlled by the referees before the end of the broadcast.
