WWE Nominated For First Sports Emmy Thanks To Peacock’s Ric Flair Documentary
Peacock’s 2022 documentary on Ric Flair has earned WWE its first Sports Emmy nomination.
WWE has finally earned an Emmy nomination as the 2022 documentary, “Woooo! Becoming Ric Flair,” has earned a Sports Emmy nod for the sports entertainment juggernaut.
The company announced the nomination on Twitter.
For the first time in company history, @WWE has been nominated for a Sports Emmy.

The documentary covered Flair’s early life, including his adoption, and his many ups and downs in the industry. Nominated for Outstanding Long Documentary, the Flair story is up against four other documentaries.
